What is Smartlipo?
Vermont Med Spa proudly offers the Smartlipo TriPlex treatment to clients in Los Angeles, California. During treatments, Dr. El Asmar will use Smartlipo TriPlex’s multiple laser waves and SmartSense technology to melt away stubborn fat in a safer and more effective way than traditional liposuction.
How does Smartlipo work?
We will apply a local anesthetic to numb the treatment area before a tiny incision is made to fit a very small tube (cannula) underneath your skin. The small tube delivers energy directly to the stubborn fat cells, causing them to melt before being fully removed from the area.* Simultaneously, the laser stimulates collagen and elastin production to tighten the surrounding tissues. This will give you firmer and smoother results than surgical liposuction.*
How is Smartlipo different than traditional liposuction?
Smartlipo is less invasive and more effective than surgical liposuction. Traditional liposuction removes large pockets of fat, but also leaves behind sizeable areas of sagging skin that require more surgery. With Smartlipo, the laser will tighten the skin to give you a smoother and more even look.* Since the procedure is less invasive, most clients see shorter recovery periods with no scarring. You should. be able to return to work within a few days and you can exercise again in about 2 weeks.
What should I expect during Smartlipo?
Smartlipo procedures only require local anesthesia and minimal downtime. Although slight trauma may occur, clients usually get back to their normal routines fairly soon. Most clients see results in the weeks following their treatment, with optimal results achieved within 3-6 months. If you’re interested in the Smartlipo treatments, contact Vermont Med Spa today.
